Charges filed against Obama Fundraising Scam by 2 America at Its Best Board Members
Fairfax, VA –Jim Crumley and Bill Hillman, board members of America at its Best, announced they were filing a complaint against Barak Obama’s presidential campaign for an illegal fundraising scheme being run by in Virginia.
Jim Crumley, Director for America at its Best, stated, “This is just another fundraising scam by the Obama campaign. They have shown throughout this election that they have no regard for the law. If Obama is elected and a church or individual tried to run a similar scheme, Obama would have his citizen police at the doors of these people making arrests.”
Senator Obama’s campaign sent an email today announcing that any new donors of $5 or more will be entered in a raffle to earn passes to his Election Day party in Chicago.
The law in Virginia is clear on raffles. The organization must be a non profit, it must have been in existence for 3 years and fifty percent of its membership must be Virginia residents. Additionally, no national political campaign may run a raffle in Virginia. The Obama campaign clearly meets none of these requirements.
On Monday, Crumley will formally file the complaint with the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs.
America at its Best Director, Bill Hillman added the following, “Senator Obama’s campaign has shown total disregard for the laws. It’s widely known that there are questionable donations based on the FEC reports, and now he has blatantly violated Virginia law.”
Obama wants Gestapo-like force
“WASHINGTON - A Republican congressman from Georgia said Monday he fears that President-elect Obama will establish a Gestapo-like security force to impose a Marxist dictatorship.
"It may sound a bit crazy and off base, but the thing is, he's the one who proposed this national security force," Rep. Paul Broun said of Obama in an interview Monday with The Associated Press.”

Obama Urges Bush to Help Auto Industry
“President Bush is unhappy the conversation between him and President-elect Barack Obama has been cast as a trade-off between Bush signing a second stimulus package in exchange for congressional passage of the Colombia Free Trade Deal, administration officials told FOX News on Tuesday. Obama asked Bush to help the sagging auto industry during their private meeting in the White House Monday, senior aides to both men said. Bush stressed the need to work with Colombia, but to make it sound like a horse trade is unfair and inaccurate, an aide told FOX News.”

Obama Sends Advisor Malley to Cozy Up to Egypt and Syria
“According to a report on Middle East Newsline, President-elect Barack Obama has dispatched his "senior foreign policy adviser", Robert Malley to Egypt and Syria to outline Obama's policy on the Middle East... Malley reportedly relayed a promise from Obama that the United States would seek to enhance relations with Cairo and reconcile differences with Damascus." The tenor of the messages was that the Obama administration would take into greater account Egyptian and Syrian interests," an aide to Malley was quoted as saying. The aide said Obama plans to launch a U.S. diplomatic initiative toward Syria. Malley met both Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Syrian strongman Bashar al-Assad "to explain Obama's agenda for the Middle East."
